LAWFUEL – The Leading Law Newswire – This year’s Law Awards of Scotland event, in association with O2, is to take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow on Thursday, and more than 570 leading members of the legal community are expected to be in attendance.
Cathy Jamieson MSP, former justice minister, will be the keynote speaker, and Donald Findlay QC will be returning, due to popular demand, to reveal the results.
The awards, sponsored by The WS Society and The Herald, are made at the end of an exhaustive judging process that begins with clients and peers being polled to gauge which firms and individuals have earned, and retained, the greatest respect over the past 12 months.
The highest-scoring firms and individuals are then invited to submit their own case for acknowledgement of their achievements to a leading panel of judges chaired by Mhairi Richards QC, which then selects the winner in each category
