LawFuel – Law Firm News – Hong Kong: Clifford Chance has welcomed Dauwood Malik and Khin Voong to its Hong Kong finance team.
Dauwood joins the firm from Deutsche Bank AG’s Global Banking Group in Singapore. In addition to general financing and debt capital market experience, he specialises in real estate and acquisition financing, in particular gaming and lodging.
Khin joins from Clifford Chance’s London office, with experience in CMBS and whole business securitisations. He is UK qualified and currently a registered foreign lawyer in Hong Kong. Khin will work with Paul Landless, a securitisation specialist who transferred from Clifford Chance’s London office in July 2006.

“Demand for real estate financing continues to grow across Asia and we are seeing increasing demand for refinancing through securitisation. A good case in point was our work on last year’s whole business securitisation of Softbank in Japan.”
