LawFuel – See ‘Hot Gossip’ – A former Ontario judge from Barrie, Canada has been allowed to practise as a lawyer again after resigning following a variety of sexual misconduct allegations, including force feeding jujubes to court employees.
A Law Society of Upper Canada appeal panel has restored Kerry Evans’ membership in the province’s legal profession, on the condition that he spend the next two years practising as an employee of another lawyer. Evans, 56, intends to practise criminal law.
