LAWFUEL – The Business Law Newswire – Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Deutsche Bank, Bank Austria Creditanstalt, Morgan Stanley and one other bank, acting as joint global coordinators and bookrunners, in connection with European real estate company IMMOEAST AG’s capital increase worth €2.835bn. This marks the largest equity capital markets transaction carried out by a European real estate company as well as the largest equity capital markets transaction by an Austrian issuer to date.

Based in Austria, IMMOEAST has a market capitalisation of €8.6bn and is the third largest real estate company in Europe. Freshfields previously advised the joint global coordinators and bookrunners in connection with IMMOEAST’s capital increase worth €2.75bn in June 2006.
