LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Linklaters has advised TIAA-CREF and British Land on their disposal of Microsoft Campus, Thames Valley Park, Reading for £104.3m to Mapeley. The property is wholly occupied by Microsoft Limited as its UK headquarters and was purchased by the two selling companies as a joint venture in 1999.
In addition, Linklaters has also advised TIAA-CREF, through ND Properties, Inc, on its disposal of Widewater Place, Harefield. The business park was sold to Clerical Medical Investment Group Limited, Clerical Medical Management Funds Limited and Halifax Life Limited for £34.5m.
Earlier this month, Linklaters acted for the same client on its sale of Waterside House in Bracknell to Norwich Property Trust Limited for £24.9m.
