Lawfuel – The Law Newswire – London – DLA Piper have advised Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland as joint lead arrangers of the €90,000,000 debt funding of All3Media’s acquisition of MME Moviement.
ALL3Media and MME Moviement are global producers and distributors of traditional and new media content.
This cross-boarder transaction required close co-operation between the London and Cologne offices as MME Moviement is listed in Frankfurt. This acquisition is the follow on from Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland’s funding of the secondary buyout of All3Media Limited in September 2006. The offer was launched in March 2007 and completed in May 2007.
Adrian Low, DLA Piper’s lead banking partner on the deal commented: “This was a particularly interesting transaction as it involved funding a take private transaction in Germany out of London. We are delighted to have been involved with Bank of Scotland and The Royal Bank of Scotland with whom we have acted for a number of years.”
The DLA Piper team was led by banking partner, Adrian Low, and assisted by Ewen Scott in London and Mario Linder in Germany.
