Lawfuel – The Law Newswire – New York, NY, May 21, 2007 – Fordham Law School is pleased to announce that Jeanne C. Fromer, J. Andrew Kent, Chi Mgbako, Kimani Paul-Emile and Paul Radvany will join the full-time faculty starting in the fall semester. In addition, the law school welcomes three visiting professors: Howard M. Erichson from Seton Hall University School of Law, Brett M. Frischmann from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, and Robert Lloyd Howse from the University of Michigan Law School.

Jeanne C. Fromer, currently the Alexander Fellow at New York University School of Law, will teach patent law and contracts. She formerly served as a law clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter and was an associate at Hale and Dorr in Boston. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, holds a S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Computer Science, summa cum laude.
J. Andrew Kent, currently the Climenko Fellow and Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, will teach constitutional law and national security law. He previously served as an associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr and clerked under Judge Robert A. Katzmann, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and, later, for Judge Carol B. Amon, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School and graduated from Harvard College.
Chi Mgbako, currently the Crowley Fellow in International Human Rights at Fordham Law School, will served as head of the new Leitner Family Human Rights Clinic. She previously served as a Harvard Henigson Human Rights Fellow/Junior Researcher for the International Crisis Group – West Africa Project in Dakar, Senegal. She received her Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School and her B.A. magna cum laude from Columbia University.
Kimani Paul-Emile will teach health law and a course on drug law and policy. Most recently, Dr. Paul-Emile served as Senior Faculty Development Consultant & Coordinator of Diversity Programming at the NYU Center for Teaching Excellence. She has worked as an associate counsel in the Poverty Program at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law and has practiced civil rights law at the Center for Constitutional Rights. She received her Ph.D. in American Studies from New York University, holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. in Political Science and in American Civilization from Brown University.
Paul Radvany, currently the deputy chief of the criminal division of the US Attorneys Office for the Southern District of New York, will join the law school’s Securities Arbitration Clinic. He has served as a lecturer at Columbia Law School for several years. He has a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a B.A. in history from Columbia College.
As for the visiting professors:
•Mr. Erichson will teach civil procedure, professional responsibility, and complex litigation. He is a former litigator with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York and clerked for Chief Justice James L. Oakes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a graduate of Harvard College and New York University School of Law.
•Mr. Frischmann will teach intellectual property and technology law. He previously served as an associate at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, DC and clerked for the Honorable Fred I. Parker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, at Georgetown University Law Center. He also holds an M.S. in Earth Resources Engineering and a B.A. in Astrophysics, both from Columbia University.
•Mr. Howse will teach international trade law and conduct a seminar on international investment law. He previously served as Second Secretary and Vice-Consul to the Canadian Embassy in Belgrade and was a member of Canada’s Policy Planning Secretariat Department of External Affairs. He holds a B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Toronto, both with honors, and a LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
