LAWFUEL – The Law Newswire – See ‘Hot Gossip’ – Leonardo DiCaprio faces a new role as litigant, squaring off against his neighbors in a case involving property damage caused through Leo’s work on building a basketball court.
Ronald and Joan Linclau filed the lawsuit on Thursday, alleging the renovation has caused extensive damage to their adjoining property.
The court papers claimed: “In the process of construction, defendants entered plaintiff’s property and cut and removed hedges and other plants… and excavated earth granite and bedrock that was part of plaintiff’s property.”
The construction has also caused their land to cave in and slide, the couple claimed. They are now seeking unspecified damages from the actor.
