LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – New York – July 17, 2007 – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Salford Georgia (Salford) and Compound Capital Limited (Compound) in connection with Metromedia International Group, Inc.’s (Metromedia) agreement pursuant to which affiliates of Salford and Compound will make a tender offer, expected to commence before July 20, 2007, for all issued and outstanding shares of Metromedia common stock at a purchase price of $1.80 per share in cash.
