LAWFUEL – US Business + Law – Davis Polk & Wardwell is advising Oracle Corporation on its acquisition of Hyperion Solutions Corporation. Hyperion is a leading global provider of performance management software solutions. Oracle is the world’s largest enterprise software company.
According to the terms of the transaction, Oracle will acquire Hyperion through a cash tender offer for $52.00 per share, or approximately $3.3 billion. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and is expected to close in April 2007.
