WHAT:
Nationally and internationally recognized lawyers, government officials and business executives will come together for in-depth exploration and discussion of current developments in antitrust and corporate and securities-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

UCLA School of Law’s Center for the Study of Mergers and Acquisitions will hold its Third Annual Corporate M&A Institute and its Second Annual Antitrust M&A Institute. Topics of discussion over the course of the three days include a Discussion with Delaware Supreme Court Judges on M&A and Related Issues; SEC Developments Regarding M&A, including the amended best price rule (adopted by the SEC on Oct. 18, 2006); China M&A: Acquiring a Chinese or Hong Kong Company; the Impact of Intellectual Property Issues on Merger and Joint Venture Analysis, Innovation and Market Definition: US, EU and Canadian Perspectives; and US and EU Procedural Developments.
