LOS ANGELES, July 10, 2008 – LAWFUEL – Kaye Scholer LLP announced today that G. Thomas Stromberg will join the firm’s Corporate & Finance Department, as Partner in its Los Angeles office, effective today.
Mr. Stromberg concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance transactions, joint ventures, corporate governance issues and general corporate matters.
His mergers and acquisitions and joint venture experience include transactions in a broad range of industries, including energy and environmental technology and infrastructure, health care, information technology, telecommunications, chemical, manufacturing, business services, agribusiness, retail, and biotechnology. In the finance area, Mr. Stromberg has experience with mezzanine and junior capital financings, public offerings, private equity, venture capital, spin-offs, asset-based financings, leveraged acquisitions, leveraged lease transactions, convertible debt finance, multibank credits, underwriting facilities, project financings, credit enhancements, and debt restructurings and workouts.

Mr. Stromberg received a B.A., with honors, from Harvard College in 1979 and a J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1982.
Mr. Stromberg joins Kaye Scholer from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he was a partner in the firm’s Corporate Department and head of its private equity practice on the West Coast.
