Amsterdam – LAWFUEL – Legal Newswire – DLA Piper is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Ludding as counsel to its Litigation & Regulatory practice. Rob joined from Dutch corporate and competition law boutique Van Wylick & Ludding on 15 February 2008.
Rob has practised European law for over 33 years, focussing on competition, energy and IP law. He has extensive experience dealing with regulations and enforcement from both a business and a government perspective. Rob worked in-house for Shell, where he advised on international competition law and was based in The Hague and London. He also regularly acted for the Dutch Competition Authority from its inception in 1998 until 2006.

With my background and experience I am well placed to contribute to the ongoing development of the competition practice. Rob, 60, studied Dutch, European and economic law at the University of Amsterdam. He has many publications to his name. Rob lectures on patents at the Grotius Academy and the University of Amsterdam.
