TALLAHASSEE, FL – Following today’s passage of the state budget by the Florida House and Senate, Attorney General Bill McCollum expressed his sincere appreciation to the members of the Legislature for fully supporting his budget request to expand the Child Predator CyberCrime Unit.

“I am extremely grateful to the members of the House and Senate for carrying out their promise to protect Florida’s children,” said Attorney General McCollum.

The six-person unit, currently located in Jacksonville, will expand to 56 staff members statewide once the budget is signed by the Governor.
