Litigation Attorney Rob Dodson Joins Adams and Reese Nashville Office

Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that litigation attorney Rob Dodson has joined the firm as Special Counsel, practicing in the Nashville office.

Dodson was a former Partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Nashville.

Practicing law since 1996, Dodson represents clients in commercial litigation, complex litigation, construction litigation, mass tort, oil and gas, environmental and toxic tort and products liability before federal and state courts. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh circuits.

Rob’s practice adds to our depth both in the Nashville office and our construction and energy practices on a regional level.”

Dodson’s practice reaches construction projects throughout the country. He is also regularly retained to represent clients in oilfield pollution cases throughout the Southeast, and has recently been retained to represent clients with interests in the Marcellus shale gas plays in Pennsylvania. In addition to these areas of practice, Dodson has also represented numerous product manufacturers and distributors in mass tort litigation brought in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana.

Dodson is a member of the American Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel, and he is a member of the legal advisory committee for the Associated General Contractors of Middle Tennessee.

Dodson earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1996, where he was an Associate Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board Member. In 1993, he received his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi honor society.
