Croshaw receives real estate recognition from GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum
SAN FRANCISCO (April 23, 2009 – LAWFUEL) – Cathy L. Croshaw, Partner at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP, has been recognized by GlobeSt.com and Real Estate Forum as one of Northern California’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) “Women of Influence” for 2009.
Croshaw, a critical member of Luce Forward’s real estate practice group, represents residential, commercial and mixed use developers in all aspects of development, project structuring and governance, and preparation for sales once the entitlements have been obtained. She has taken many single family, master planned condominium and mixed-use projects through the Department of Real Estate (DRE) approval process to marketing and project sellout. As a member of the firm’s distressed real estate asset group, Croshaw also focuses on distressed real estate assets and has successfully developed viable alternatives to best position clients and their troubled assets.
In 2008, she provided a variety of legal services for two high-profile, high rise mixed-use projects in San Francisco that recently came to fruition, including adaptation of the existing documents to market changes, leasing and sales of commercial units, facilitating the sales process for residential condominiums and assisting in the transition from developer to owner control of the projects. She also completed three Mission Bay projects and another San Francisco high rise where she created a framework for sales and marketing, ownership and governance of the projects that was tailored to best suit that particular market.

Croshaw currently serves as the Partner-In-Charge of Luce Forward’s San Francisco office. She is one of the two original partners who opened up that office in 1994 and previously served as Partner-in-Charge of that office for years.
Real Estate Forum’s Northern California “Women in Influence” Award recognizes women across the spectrum of disciplines in the real estate industry, including architects, attorneys, brokers, developers, lenders and owners. Selections are based on achievements, including the deals and transactions that nominees were involved in during 2008, as well as their contributions to the industry and to the community.
