Morrison Low is a trans-Tasman management consulting firm specialising in the Local Government sector. We have projects on the go with a large number of Councils throughout Australasia. Our people are smart, energetic and the best in their field, and we’re on the search for another like-minded star performer to provide general consulting services to our New Zealand and Australian client base.
With our head office located in Newmarket, you will also have a regular presence there, and be involved with the wider Morrison Low team, on multiple projects. This role requires a high degree of flexibility and mobility, with regular travel throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Ideally you will have experience in a consulting role, with a strong affinity for building positive relationships with a diverse range of clients. A previous background and technical skill-sets in project management, finance, law, or a strong commercial acumen, will be an advantage.
We are seeking a degree-qualified professional who has had significant exposure to public sector organisations. Client projects range from business reviews and organisational development, through to asset and waste management, for district, city and regional Councils. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of diverse projects while also enjoying a self-driven and autonomous work style.
As a Consultant in our team you will …
– Manage and assist with multiple projects
– Work closely with recognised leaders in the Local Government sector
– Develop key relationships with existing clients
– Create, pitch and win proposals for new projects
– Contribute alongside the staff and Directors of the business
– Hone your project management and report writing skill sets
– Become a specialist in several niche LG disciplines
