Mr. Sher was formerly a partner in Blank Rome’s Washington, D.C., office, where he advised clients on resolving, and often avoiding, a wide range of commercial disputes. For many years, he also has acted as a national coordinating counsel providing strategic advice to companies in supervising and managing a coordinated national defense of their products liability cases involving a broad array of products.

Mr. Sher earned his J.D. in 1989 at American University’s Washington College of Law; and his B.A. in History from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, both with high honors. Mr. Sher began honing his litigation skills early in his career working as an associate at Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and later as an associate and partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP in Washington, D.C.
