MEXICO CITY (LAWFUEL) – Gardere, Arena y Asociados, S.C., a joint venture between Arena y Asociados, S.C. in Mexico City and Texas-based Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP, are proud to announce the promotion of associates Fernando Camarena Cardona and Eduardo Pizarro Suarez Villalobos to partner in Arena y Asociados.

Mr. Camarena’s practice focuses on tax matters. He represents clients in international tax planning and domestic litigation matters in Mexico. He earned his law degree, with honors, in 1998 from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico.
Mr. Pizarro’s practice focuses on financing and real estate projects, including public and private mergers, joint ventures, power generation and international arbitration. He earned his law degree, with highest honors, in 1997 from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico.
In addition to their work in Mexico City, Mr. Camarena and Mr. Pizarro have previously worked as foreign associates in Gardere’s Dallas and Houston offices.
