Led by partner Michael C. Miller, the team includes partner Evan Glassman and associates Lenor Marquis and Christopher J. Marino, all formerly of Piliero Goldstein Kogan & Miller (PGKM) LLP, New York City.

Mr. Miller represents officers and directors of Fortune 500 companies, the owners of private businesses, government officials, attorneys and other professionals residing in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom and the Far East, and has appeared before AAA arbitration panels in London and Paris. His recent representations include clients involved in the Enron and Refco accounting fraud cases, the KPMG tax fraud prosecutions, Converse Technology’s stock option grant backdating indictments, and mutual fund market timing matters. Mike’s recent victories include an acquittal on all counts following a criminal jury trial for a client accused of embezzling over $300,000, and a $12 million award for an international telecommunications company following an AAA arbitration hearing against a key computer chip supplier.
After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985, Mr. Miller joined the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted securities fraud, tax fraud and similar business crimes. He has been in private practice since 1993.

Mr. Miller is a member of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, and is Counsel to the President of the NYCLA American Inn of Court. He publishes frequently in professional and trade journals on topics related to his litigation practice interests.
Mr. Glassman joined PGKM in 2006, following six years as an associate at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, New York. His practice focuses on all areas of commercial litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as on white-collar criminal and regulatory investigations.

A 1993 graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Mr. Glassman’s recent engagements have included the successful prosecution of trademark and gray market actions on behalf of the U.S. licensee of a world famous Swiss watchmaker, the defense of a major cigarette manufacturer in antitrust actions dismissed following successful motions for summary judgment; and the representation of a well-known mystery writer and editor in a trademark and breach of contract matter that resulted in a favorable jury verdict of $2.8 million.
Mr. Glassman serves on the Board of the Oak Lane Child Care Center in Chappaqua, New York, and is the Secretary of the Arnold Glassman Fund, Inc., a Los Angeles charitable organization supporting documentary filmmaking. Ms. Marquis’ complex commercial litigation practice extends to white-collar defense, intellectual property, and securities litigation cases. A 2002 cum laude graduate of the New York University School of Law, she litigated for five years with Heller Ehrman LLP. Representative engagements include the dismissal last year, recently upheld on appeal, of a widely-publicized $400 million tort action on behalf of a well-known international businessman, in a dispute related to a project to develop and install a wireless communications network throughout the Russian Federation. Among other public interest pursuits, she is a member of the board of Project FAIR, a New York City non-profit providing free legal advice and referrals to public assistance applicants and recipients, and serves on the Pro Bono Advisory Council of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI).
Mr. Marino’s litigation practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters including white-collar criminal defense, financial and corporate fraud, and intellectual property prosecution. A 2004 graduate of Rutgers School of Law-Camden, he has participated in internal investigations of corporations emanating from allegations of officer and director fraud, and has also provided pro bono representation to refugee clients in political asylum applications, adjustment of status matters, and appeals before the US Board of Immigration Appeals.
