Matchcompany.co.nz – New Zealand’s dating scene is seeing increased numbers use online dating, but also more people seeking personalised dating help. Matchcompany’s Rosie Bowie is presently heavily involved with Christchurch clients, many of whom are rebuilding their lives in the same way that their city is being rebuilt.
“There’s clearly been a great deal of trauma after the long-running quakes and some clients have had a truly terrible time,” says Mrs Bowie, who manages one of New Zealand’s largest dating agencies, specialising in helping people on a one-to-one, personalised basis.
Matchcompany has been working in Christchurch for several years and has found that clients are looking for the stability of a relationlship to help with the challenges faced by what has happened in the city.
“There’s no question that there has been an increase in those simply seeking the companionship and support that comes from having someone special in your life.
“The Christchurch dating scene and general entertainment scene has clearly suffered huge disruptions and we have found many people who have gone online to find partners, but who just sometimes need some help, or who simply don’t want to go through the online dating “trawl”,” says Mrs Bowie.
Matchcompany is seeing clients in Christchurch this week and you can contact them if you wish to see a personal matchmaker by contacting the company at Matchcompany, or emailing Rosie personally at rb@matchcompany.co.nz or calling on 021 476 454.
