Tokyo – Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (Orrick) has advised Sanei International Co., Ltd. (Sanei), a leading Japan-based clothing and accessories retailer, on a joint venture business with Kate Spade LLC. Sanei and Kate Spade LLC to jointly establish Kate Spade Japan Co., Ltd..
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, Sanei remains at the forefront of the apparel industry, having developed numerous original brands in Japan. The company has also been licensed to exclusively import and sell major international fashion brands in Japan and throughout Asia.
