Details about the new partners:

Daniel J. Boland is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton, resident in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Boland concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on antitrust, director and officer liability, and securities litigation. He also has experience advising clients on antitrust compliance and working with experts on complex financial and economic issues. Mr. Boland also is a certified public accountant and former auditor with Ernst & Young LLP in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of DeSales University (B.S. in accounting and finance, summa cum laude, 1998), Villanova University (M.B.A., 2003) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D., 2003). Mr. Boland resides in Blue Bell, PA.

John W. Devine is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, resident in the Philadelphia office. He also is a member of the firm’s Food and Beverage Team and Sustainability, CleanTech and Climate Change Team. Mr. Devine concentrates his practice in middle-market merger and acquisition transactions for privately-held companies. He has worked on the buy and sell sides of such transactions, representing both financial and strategic buyers and sellers. Most recently, Mr. Devine’s practice has concentrated on representing institutional healthcare companies in their sale transactions. Mr. Devine is a 2003 graduate of Villanova University School of Law and is a 2000 graduate of Brown University, where he earned a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in organizational behavioral management. He resides in Philadelphia, PA.

Delia C. Donahue is a member of Pepper’s Financial Services Practice Group, resident in the Princeton office. Ms. Donahue focuses her practice on finance and other commercial transactions. She regularly represents borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions, restructurings and workouts. Ms. Donahue’s commercial lending expertise extends to a variety of commercial lending transactions including real estate acquisition and development loans, assets based loans (including equipment, inventory and receivables financing), construction loans, affordable housing loans, working capital lines of credit and any number of other commercial loan facilities. Ms. Donahue serves on the board of trustees of Community Options, Inc. She graduated from Seton Hall University Law School (J.D. 2001) and received her undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University (B.A. 1998). She lives in Montgomery Township, NJ.

Ann B. Graff is member of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, resident in the Pittsburgh office. Ms. Graff concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, with a focus on construction-related claims. Ms. Graff is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she served as an executive editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce. She graduated, with distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University in 1998, with a B.S. in nutrition. Ms. Graff lives in Pittsburgh, PA.

Scott R. Jones is a member of the Corporate and Securities Practice Group of Pepper Hamilton, resident in the Philadelphia office. He concentrates his practice in securities, venture capital, private equity, and merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Jones has experience in public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and the acquisition and disposition of public and private companies. He also counsels senior management and boards of directors of companies on governance, disclosure and transactional matters. Mr. Jones graduated with high honors from Lehigh University in 1994 with a B.S. in accounting and finance and also received a minor in international relations. He earned his J.D. from New York University Law School. He is a resident of Schwenksville, PA.

Deborah Kovsky-Apap is a member of the firm’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Group, resident in the Detroit office. She focuses her practice on bankruptcy insolvency and out-of-court workouts. Ms. Kovsky also has substantial litigation and trial experience in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial and securities law. Ms. Kovsky is a member of the board of the Michigan Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. In the community, she serves on the executive board of the Anti-Defamation League and on the board of JARC. Ms. Kovsky received her A.B. from Harvard College, magna cum laude, in 1996, and her law degree from Columbia Law School in 2003, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an associate editor of the Columbia Law Review. She lives in Southfield, MI.

Yvonne M. McKenzie is a member of the Health Effects Litigation Practice Group, resident in the Philadelphia office. She focuses her practice on the defense of pharmaceutical companies in products liability and class action claims in state and federal multi-district litigation, as well as claims brought by state Attorneys General for restitution of Medicaid payments, civil penalties and government investigations. Ms. McKenzie also has experience in claims brought by third-party payors and consumers alleging violations of state consumer fraud and unfair trade practices laws. Ms. McKenzie graduated, summa cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2002 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. While attending Villanova, she served as a managing editor for the Villanova Law Review. She received a B.A. in English and psychology from Duquesne University in 1999. Ms. McKenzie lives in Wynnewood, PA.

Hyung P. Steele is a member of Pepper’s Health Effects Litigation Practice Group, resident in the Philadelphia office. He focuses his practice on defending pharmaceutical clients in multi-district and class action personal injury litigation, state Attorney General actions, congressional inquiries and parallel, federal and state, criminal and civil government investigations. Mr. Steele’s practice also includes conducting internal corporate investigations and providing counseling on regulatory compliance and risk avoidance. Mr. Steele graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law in 2003, where he was a member of the Villanova Moot Court Executive Board. He received the Best Brief award at the 2003 Fordham Securities Law Moot Court Competition. He graduated from Kenyon College in 1997, with a B.A. in English and economics. Mr. Steele is a resident of Garnet Valley, PA.
