The brutal stabbing of DLA Piper associate lawyer David Messerschmitt has not lead to any arrest following the young attorney’s death in Washington DC.
The deceased lived in the boutique hotel.
Police said they were called to the room about 11 a.m. on Tuesday and found the victim dead and suffering from multiple stab wounds. No other details have been released.
Police said they had learned that Messerschmitt had been missing for some time, with the family saying they reported Messerschmitt missing a full 24 hours before police found his body. Second, police have now released video of a man they consider a “person of interest” in the case.
