The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP announced today that David Levin, 44, is joining the Firm as a corporate partner in both Chadbourne & Parke LLP and its multinational partnership, Chadbourne & Parke, in London. Prior to joining Chadbourne, Mr. Levin was a partner at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw based in their London office.
“We are pleased to welcome David to Chadbourne,” said Charles K. O’Neill, the Firm’s Managing Partner. “His diverse corporate, energy and telecommunications experience adds valuable depth to the portfolio of legal services provided to clients by Chadbourne & Parke’s London office.”
Mr. Levin comes to Chadbourne with more than twenty years of significant experience acting for UK and U.S. clients in the United Kingdom. His practice encompasses corporate, corporate finance, outsourcing, telecommunications, e-commerce and energy matters. He represents U.S., UK and other clients in UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.
In addition, he advises financial institutions and companies in connection with takeovers, mergers, flotations (IPOs), rights issues (secondary offerings) and domestic and multinational joint ventures. Over the years, Mr. Levin has also developed a financial services regulatory practice, advising both U.S. banks and, more recently, start-ups. He has particular expertise in the regulatory aspects of outsourcing.
“David’s arrival at the Firm is another step in our continuing expansion in London,” added William Greason, Managing Partner of Chadbourne’s London office. “His broad range of experience will complement our existing expertise, helping us both to pursue new clients and to provide additional services to our current clients.”
