The US Secret Service Wants You

Looking for a new career?

The United States Secret Service is looking for you.
(Miami, Fl) – Choosing the right career is an important decision. Both the position and the candidate must be a right “fit.”

Currently, the United States Secret Service is recruiting applicants in the Broward and Dade County areas for Uniformed Division officer and special agent positions. Officers in the Uniformed Division provide protection for the White House Complex and other facilities, foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C., area.

Special agents are charged with two missions: protection and investigations. During the course of their careers, Special Agents carry out assignments in both of these areas and
may be assigned to multiple duty stations throughout the U.S. and abroad. Both officers and agents perform a variety of duties, and these positions demand integrity, a great work ethic and an appreciation for teamwork.

To meet potential applicants, the Secret Service will co-host the 1st Annual Federal Law Enforcement/Intelligence Career Fair on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the Broward Community College – South Campus. Secret Service personnel will be available to discuss all aspects of the application and hiring process. Additional information on the
career opportunities with the Secret Service is available on the Internet at http://www.secretservice.gov/join.
