Nationally, Quin has been a consultant to the private sector in the fields of land use, historic preservation, housing and building related matters. Michael Ruane – Real Estate
A member of Holland & Knight’s Real Estate Section, he practices in the real property area emphasizing commercial real estate financing, acquisitions, sales, property management and leasing, partnerships and joint ventures, lender liability and loan workouts. His practice includes representation of institutional investors, such as life insurance companies, pension funds and banks, real estate developers and others in connection with their real estate projects and investments in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and beyond. Ruane’s practice also includes work in the hospitality industry, including hotel management agreements and the development, sale and acquisition of hotel properties. His practice also has involved advising clients regarding loan and partnership restructures, deed in lieu transactions, foreclosures, and single-asset (real estate) bankruptcies, both contested and consensual, and monitoring and advising on a variety of real estate related litigation and workout arrangements in connection with defaulted transactions.
Alby Salaman – Estate and Probate
Salaman is chair of Holland & Knight’s Mid-Atlantic Region Private Wealth Services Group and practices in the areas of estate planning, estates, tax, and premarital agreements. He has more than 20 years of experience in designing sophisticated estate plans and saving taxes for professional athletes nationwide and wealthy families in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area. Charles Welch Tiedemann – Real Estate

Charles D. Tobin – Media
Chair of Holland & Knight’s National Media Practice Team, Tobin is a former journalist and has appeared in state and federal courts around the country representing the media in libel and privacy lawsuits at both the trial and appellate levels.
