ST. LOUIS – October 4, 2011 – International law firm Bryan Cave LLP announced today the elevation of 10 of its attorneys to new firm and client service leadership roles.
Partners LaDawn Naegle of the Washington, D.C., office, Paula Pace of the St. Louis office and Larry Scarborough of the Phoenix office have joined the Executive Committee. Bryan Cave’s Executive Committee provides oversight of the firm’s strategic direction and its principal policies.
John Peirce, who has served as deputy managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office, will become managing partner of the office effective Jan. 1. Peirce has litigation and counseling experience in domestic and foreign antitrust and trade regulation law, class actions, complex commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Stuart Price will become managing partner of the Irvine, Calif., office effective Nov. 1. Price’s practice areas include lending and foreclosure-related disputes, contract disputes, trade secret law, unfair competition, shareholder and partnership disputes and employee theft and embezzlement.
Jay Zweig became managing partner of the Phoenix office effective Oct. 1. Zweig practices employment law and related commercial litigation. He represents private businesses, public corporations and governments in avoiding and resolving employment law disputes.
In addition, the firm has made the following client service leadership changes:
Doug Thompson became leader of the Class Actions Client Service Group effective Oct. 1. Thompson focuses his practice on representation of institutional clients in the consumer financial services sector. He has experience defending clients in various federal and state courts against putative nationwide and statewide consumer financial services class action matters.
Jennifer Odom will become a deputy leader of the Commercial Litigation Client Service Group effective Oct. 1. Chris Cesare will continue as leader of the group and Rob Ebert as deputy leader. Odom is a civil litigation attorney with a focus on fiduciary litigation, trust and estate litigation and complex commercial and corporate litigation.
Kathryn Knudson, presently deputy leader of the Financial Institutions Client Service Group, became group leader effective Oct. 1. Knudson concentrates her practice in financial institution and securities law with an emphasis on the regulation and structure of financial institutions and financial services companies.
Mary Clare Bonaccorsi, presently co-leader of the Life Sciences and Health Care Client Service Group, will become leader effective Jan. 1. Bonaccorsi concentrates her practice in litigation as well as litigation avoidance strategies, with a special focus in the health care industry. Her experience encompasses all aspects of litigation, ranging from motion practice, oral and written expert and non-expert discovery, trial practice, appellate practice, as well as settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
