Weil Gotshal associate Aaron Ford was elected President-Elect of the J.L. Turner Legal Association (J.L. Turner), the African American Bar Association in Dallas. Mr. Ford will become will become president of J.L. Turner in 2008.
J.L. Turner, which was founded in 1952, strives to improve the quality of life in the community through education, service and scholarship. J.L. Turner members are involved in several worthy projects, such as providing legal assistance to indigent residents in the North Texas area, scholarships to law students requiring financial or other assistance and performing educational and other community outreach projects for members of the North Texas community.
